"The worst Dr's office I've ever dealt with. I've been overcharged and visits have been coded incorrectly since Sept 2022. I can't talk to office staff directly usually since messages are fielded by an out of town 3rd party. Mission billing tells me the office needs to fix it, the office says Mission needs to fix it. I've spent no less than (literally) 15hrs on the phone asking them to correct the mistakes to no avail. I've even dropped by to discuss the billing issues. I've left messages for months and months, talked to my insurance company for guidance, etc. AND the Asheville Family Medicine staff always say they can't do anything and even seem annoyed by my asking/my periodic check ins. It's August 2023, I've tried to get these two visits fixed (billing/medical codes) since March 2023... Hours and hours and hours of my effort, no progress whatsoever. Now bills are in collections. In Feb, I went for my yearly physical and was told they couldn't afford a phlebotomist in staff so I should go to an alternate location for the blood draw, in the Mission network. Based on the medical coding used, the bloodwork for my wellness visit was $1600! After write offs, it came down to over $500. FOR A PHYSICAL/preventative care. The practice said I need to confer/contest with the lab that they sent me to that day and not them. Overall: No accountability, not client-centered, and they're so short staffed they don't give a damn about their patients. Beware, you'd be better off going to urgent care!!"

"Do NOT take your children here! My 4 month old was accidentally given the Prevnar 13 vaccine which is not approved for infants younger than 12 months. This was after we waited half an hour after our scheduled appointment because they didn’t have the vaccines ready."

"Every time i have an appointment, my wait is basically non-existent. Jennifer is amazing; she is very courteous and kind. she did blood work multiple times for me and each time is flawless. Always have been nervous about needles and she makes it super easy and non-threatening. Dr. Connie Scripture is the best; she really cares about my well-being and i feel like I'm really being listened to. She's thorough and to the point, but is super efficient. I enjoy coming to your practice and would highly recommend to anyone!!"
