"Called to inquire about making a new patient appointment. Sat on hold for 19+ minutes. Phone secretary finally answered and I asked if they were taking new patients at the Durant Road office. She asked if I wanted directions or the fax number. I repeated that I wanted to know if they were accepting new patients at that locations. She replied "Only PA Williams." I asked, "So, is that a yes then?" She hung up on me. If you're looking for an alternative, I adored Select Family Practice (particularly Reza Hatefi), but I have a new insurance plan and they are out of network for me now."

"They have been my provider for 10 years and all is fine until recently. 2 months ago I had an appt. They never sent the labs, they will not call me back and they are not telling the truth (literally) about my prescriptions. I have had to physically go into the office 3 times to get any action on prescriptions. Most recently they literally lied. They said the prior authorization was approved. The next day they said it was rejected. I called the insurance company and it was never submitted. I am now forced to find a new doctors office. Beware!! Worst office ever!!!!"

"John Meier deserves 10 stars. Great doctor and primary care provider. However, I went in for hip/groin pain and Jessica Hedrick told me it was the way I was sitting or “manspreading” as she said. Turns out I have an impingement and possible torn labrum. So beware of her. John Meier though has always been incredibly thorough and puts emphasis on nutritional and overall health above treatment."

"I can't call this office when you need help. Fell off a ladder, took 2 months to get in, and have a really bad cough now. Sorry, go to urgent care across the hall. What good is it to establish with a primary care doctor if they will not help you when you need them? It's most disheartening that this practice does not understand the Oath they took. 'I solemnly promise that I will to the best of my ability serve humanity—caring for the sick, promoting good health, and alleviating pain and suffering.' My wife had the same experience with another Dr in the same practice."

"The first time I walked into the waiting room, spoke to the girls at the desk, waited to be called in, I was more than satisfied making the very long trip for my medical appointment! I have been going there for almost 2 years. My medical provider answered all of my questions and was very respectful during my exams. Also, the girls at the desk were more than professional and greeted me with a smile each time. I look forward to continuing my quarterly visits. In addition, I must say that the entire staff and my doctor have made my move to North Carolina a very happy one!"
