Select Family Practice and Urgent Care

"This place is great for urgent care visits, but would not recommend if you are looking for a primary care physician. On the first visit there, my blood pressure was high and I was given the option of taking blood pressure(bp ) pills or getting it rechecked in a couple of weeks. Which is OKAY, except I stated I didn’t have a history of high blood pressure and I wasn’t asked about my diet or specifics on my lifestyle which does have an impact on bp. I also stated that sometimes I experienced chest pains, and was only told that wouldn’t be a symptom of high bp and should go to the Emergency Room if I do get chest pains. No further questions were asked regarding my experiencing chest pains, so I felt like the doctor really didn’t care and assumed most of my problems were from my weight because I am overweight. If you want medicine to treat the symptoms you may be experiencing this is the place for you. However, if you want to get to the root of the problem and want to get your body healthy, go somewhere else. I gave two stars because the office staff is extremely friendly."
