"I was greeted by the front desk receptionist. She was friendly and helped me to get checked in. Then I saw Louise, the nurse, who was professional, answered my questions and helped me to feel comfortable. Next I talked to the therapist. She was awesome! Very easy to talk to, gave me some great feedback, and made me feel better after she left. Lastly, I saw the nurse practionier who was very knowledgeable, professional and answered all of my questions. I received some paperwork reviewing my visit and anxiety meds were called into my pharmacy."
"My experience in no way reflected the other negative reviews here. I walked in on a weekday, filled out my paperwork, and waited less than 10 minutes to be called back by a nurse. I saw the nurse, therapist, and PA (all in person) and was out the door on my way in a little over an hour. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly, as was everyone else I interacted with. I’ve found my online experience via telehealth to also be streamlined and effective."
"From start to finish, the experience of Monarch was undesirable and entirely ineffective. The doctors are not available when needed outside scheduled appointments. And the process of getting a appointment was grueling and an uphill battle. Absolutely recommend to avoid Monarch to any and every person that asks or mentions this horrendous operation. Despite trying.. It is ineffable how terrible the patient care and services are."
"This place is the worst! They refused to see me even though I was the only one there! The nurse who was rude said " we only take emergency" Ummm no if you need a med change and are showing sign as of mania you need to be seen. Ironically I was there the Monday before with no issues I have been there before with no issues.I believe the NP did not want to deal with me because I had cardiac issues and he didn't know what to do. My issue was that I had not slept in a week. There answer was you have an as appointment in 10 Days...So I have to wait an additional 10 days with no sleep!! That causes phychosis and mania."
"Went to this location to be seen for my mental health at the recommendation of my psychologist. She recommended me to a different location, however, they referred me to Monarch because they accepted my insurance. However, I will never be returning and I hope I can tell other potential patients to turn away too. Arrived with my fiancé to get some help with medication management. When we arrived there was an ambulance in the parking lot and a police car. We didn’t think much of it and walked to the front doors where a gentleman opened the doors for us. Very quickly an older lady approached us and stated that, “due to a medical emergency we aren’t allowing anyone to enter the building… can you please leave?” Verbatim like that. The ambulance and police presence indicated something serious, I don’t question that nor do I question their policies or procedures in those serious moments, however, I’m livid at the fact neither she nor anyone else offered an alternative for us to turn to. No phone number to call. No website to visit. No other location to visit. Didn’t even offer for us to come by at another time or to take our info to let us know when we were free to come back. She literally asked us to leave and literally shooed us away with her hands. I was left with no other route to take but to go home in the midst of a psychotic episode which isn’t safe. My psychologist was not happy and is handling it on her end. This was unacceptable and dangerous. Lord forbid someone who is struggling with suicidal thoughts or suicide attempts comes to this practice and is turned away and isn’t given the resources necessary. If I were you, go somewhere else. Two attempts at coming here and I never made it past the door."
