"I have been an alcoholic and addict since I was in my early teens. I have had years of sobriety on and off. I relapsed recently for a little over a year and I went to detox at Triangle Springs. Hands down the best place I've been to detox and I've been to a lot of places. Don't let these low reviews fool you. Some people go into detox because they're forces to and some just to have a place to rest their heads. If you are willing to get clean and sober and want it, they will help you. It's the people who have bad attitudes that have issues. The staff works their butt off for you and should be treated with respect and the same amount of patience they have for you. You're allowed to have a phone and smoke. If I can get sober, anyone can. Don't waste anymore of your life. Go to triangle springs."
"My loved one has been in Triangle Springs for over a week and because all the tablets are broken Ive been unable to do a video visit even though the website lists virtual visits and says family involvement is crucial. My loved one is not allowed to use their own device, unlike what the website says. Also, I spent two days trying to reach someone after my loved one's admission, and spent over 48 minutes on hold at one time. Nobody from Triangle Springs notified me that my spouse was admitted until 5 hours later when my spouse had their phone again and was able to text me. This place does NOT care about families or patients. Do not let your loved one go here !"
"The food is good. You can smoke, use your own cell phone, and drink nondecaf coffee here. However I don’t recommend this facility if you are having severe episodes because staff just does not care and will not help you. They’d much rather tell you to go away. When I was having a severe psychotic episode the only “help” or “support” I received was a suggestion to “try screaming less loudly” and that “adults don’t yell or have outbursts.” Absolutely no actual help was given to me during those times, they just told me I needed more Ativan which they insisted I take despite me declining to take an addictive substance several times.(Other non-addictive meds were sometimes used as well). I literally only needed someone to vent to and they are wholly unable to provide that. The therapy groups can be good, although some of the information is overly simplistic or basic. Staff can also help to print out coloring pages, sudoku, word searches when they aren’t busy."
"I drove from garner which is 45 min away and was told I wasn’t allowed to visit a loved one because I used to be a patient there. The staff was rude and the supervisor Ms. Sharon was the absolute worst. Her behavior was demeaning and unprofessional. I highly recommend you avoid this place! While I was allowed to visit 2 days prior I was not allowed 3 days later. Avoid sending a loved one here as you probably won’t get to see them!! If that’s their policy they should have it written somewhere! When I was a patient there it wasn’t great, I ended up just going to the VA. Compassion for other human beings is totally absent there. Thank you Ms. Sharon for robbing me of the chance to see my loved ones. You are a true disgrace to humanity."
"I love and respect this hospital. I appreciate the inpatient care and future outpatient care that my loved one has and will receive at both of your beautiful facilities (Inpatient-Rainier Springs and Outpatient- Triangle Springs). Thank you to everyone who works at TSH for your hard work, dedication and loving care. You all make such a difference in many lives, keep up the wonderful work! My family member is doing very well and I know it is because of the amazing services that you offer and the dedicated staff. I will forever be grateful for everything that you have done for my family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!"
