"Posting on behalf of my husband! He sees provider Marlisa don’t get me wrong the office staff is lovely ms. Stephanie and Ms.dee are very helpful and attentive but since a week ago I have been trying to get his provider to clarify his prescription instructions so my husband can get his medication. The pharmacy has it! The medication is covered! All they need is clear instructions! I have called and pleaded cried and it still isn’t a priority! The pharmacy has called multiple times and gotten assurance it gonna be done and it hasn’t it’s been days! My husband has called, I’ve called his other family is calling! What happened to do no harm? The definition of harm is writing a prescription that’s medically necessary being notified of an error and not correcting the error immediately! If this can happen to my family it can happen to urs! Please ! Make sure if this is the office you see or are thinking about seeing please know and think about what we are experiencing!! Are loved ones are humans that deserve respect and attention they are not bodies you just have 10 min check ins with and $ signs! if you have a great experience here I’m glad and still will pray for you!"
"DO NOT SEE Dr. Wiggins. Went in for tremors and some numbness in legs, and he acted like neither was a big deal, did not explain why I could be struggling with these concerns, and disregarded my concerns about these health issues. There clearly is something wrong, but he did not seem to care to look further into it. He offered a medicine I had taken in the past that did not help previously, but I decided to take it again, gave me bad side effects, and then when I contacted him, he said to stop the medication and that he cannot help me further. I spent a bunch of money for nothing. He did not show compassion during the appointment, showed up very late, and kept saying "I don't know" to most questions I asked."
"From the moment we stepped into the building, we received clear directions to the office. The receptionist was appropriately engaging and friendly with our nonverbal son. The nurse came out to get our son and kneeled to his wheelchair level to welcome him. She wasn’t thrown by his grabbing for her stethoscope. When we met Dr Patel, he gave Ben a high five. He’d already reviewed Ben’s records and asked numerous followup questions and listened to my concerns. The office also has a board in the waiting room to let patients know if doctors are running behind. I highly recommend this office for its sincerity in welcoming patients and making them feel comfortable."
"As the stars indicate, this is a mediocre facility. If it weren't for the attention to detail I felt I received from Dr. Carraro, I'd give this place one star for the complete incompetency of the office staff. My first experience, I called and spoke to the front desk person, then confirmed that yes, I would like to speak to a nurse to discuss what could possibly be charged later, since I was paying cash. I was informed three times that the amount would be X. I paid when I arrived. I stopped at the desk when I was finished, I had nothing owed. Nothing was done. Nothing was determined. No tests were ran. Next thing I know, I received a bill for almost $400 in the mail and Novant offered me no apology, no explanation, no offering of assistance as an uninsured person. I spoke to the billing department, yes. When going back and forth with the office staff, good luck talking to someone who can actually handle business. After my second visit, the doctor told me someone would call me to schedule an appointment. Almost 6 weeks later, no call. I call, can't get through so I leave a message. Nobody calls back. I message through the system, nobody addresses the fact I need an appointment. I call again, this time I'm able to make an appointment...for three weeks out. So now it will have been almost ten weeks since my last visit. The only reason I'm still giving this place any time of day is because I believe in Dr. Carraro and his ability to treat me, but dealing with the office staff is the most painful thing possible."
"Novant Neurology and Sleep has some of the best doctors. Doctor Gordon is a fantastic physician. On the first appointment, he spent about an hour to get an idea of the symptoms. He is VERY thorough. He listens to your issues and works with you to form a plan that is suitable for your needs. He also explains things in a way you can understand. His nurse is also very friendly and helpful."
