"If I could give them zero stars I would. Precursor - I have no insurance but am able to make payments on any medical bills. I developed a cist on my lower lid and was referred to Avl Eye by an emergency room doctor. It was quite large, painful and aggravating. The doctor I saw was not only rude but sighed in frustration when I asked questions. After examining the cist, the doctor said she was going to check with another doctor to see if he had time to see me to cut it open (bc that's the only way that the cist will actually go away). The tech or PA, whatever her title was, came back in the room and said that they were going to give me antibiotics and a cream. When I asked about the other doctor, the PA said that he won't cut it open unless I could pay the fee up front. When I called the PA out about feeling as I was getting second rate medical treatment she backtracked and said the doctor didn't actually have time and that's what she meant. I took the cream and antibiotics bc what choice did I have. 10 days later and a full month of having the cist, it's still here and not getting any better. On top of all of that my appt was for 1:20pm and I didn't get seen till 3:45pm. I will never recommend them and try to deter anyone I know from every going to this provider."

"Very rude staff. I had to cancel same day because I had Covid and they called it “no show”- of course they didn’t tell me this. Rescheduled for a couple months later and actually no showed because my son was up sick all night. The person I spoke to was so rude and told me I no showed twice so she could schedule me one more time. I felt like child being scolded. I guess they prefer Covid. My bad. Go somewhere else."

"This is my second yearly visit and the second time waiting more than 45 minutes to get in to see at a doctor after making an appointment. The tech does exam, back to waiting room (more waiting), then the Dr does her exam. Why? I'm gone."

"I have never come to this place and not waited for a significant amount of time. My appointment today was at 7:30am and I’m still sitting in a room, waiting for a doctor at 8:10. How can I have the first appointment and still be waiting? If it weren’t for the convenience of having multiple doctors available when acute issues arise, I would find a new office for my vision needs."

"There are undoubtedly better eye doctors. These people love talking amongst themselves -serving patients on a timely basis is simply not in their playbook. I was waiting for the doctor for more than 20 minutes (30 minutes after being dilated) - being told she was with an patient. Turns out she was talking to another person who works at the office."
