"My daughter has been going to this facility since she was 10 months and she is now 6yrs. This by far was one of the best decisions I made by enrolling her into this daycare. I always wanted her to be in a small daycare but I had no idea that a home daycare would be able to offer everything Mrs. Horton Little Angels does. Aunt Ruby and Aunt Dimples really take their time in working with each of the children enrolled. You can tell they are very passionate about what they do. The Curriculum is very well put together. I don't have to call before stopping by. Everything she told me she offered when we had our initial meeting she delivered. They do art and crafts and teach the kids how to garden. They teach the kids how to be individuals and how to solve conflicts among each other. They make sure the kids are more than prepared when they begin school. When my daughter started school she was ahead of the students in her class because she was already doing what they were teaching in school at daycare. It felt good to have hear her Kindergarten teacher brag about how well she was doing. She finished the school year above her reading level and was excelling in her math. She still attends before and after school at this facility. They help her with her homework. This is a home daycare that offers everything if not more than those bigger facilities. If you are looking for a place you can leave your child without worrying about them and someone to teach, mentor, and care for your child this is the place for you. This home daycare does not babysit your child or let the TV teach them. In the summer they convert into a summer camp and the kids go on a field trip everyday. They always keep the children involved in extracurricular activities. They have some of the smartest kids enrolled. I'm not just saying this because my child goes there this is the truth. "I have had the pleasure of visiting Mrs. Horton Little Angels without my visit being announced. Upon entry of the facility I was pleased to see safety measurements in place, the bright colors, organization of the facility, friendly staff and cleanliness. I observed children doing physical hands-on learning activities not coloring or looking at television but engaged group learning. To be honest, I was shocked. ’ I quickly realized this wasn’t a baby sitter establishment but a respectful learning felicity. Mrs. Horton teaching and learning techniques are 10 star worthy as all of her students are fully engaged, learning and laughing.
