"Traumatic experience of being held for hours while engorged and just 7 days after c-section. Care plan is on point however their execution is slower than a snail. I was in OB ER for about 3hrs which is reasonable. Got discharged around 3:30pm then got referred to Heart & Vascular Dept because I was having some sort of gastric pain. I was in a wheelchair sorta naive and out of it since I just had a baby. I only follow the procedure thinking I'll get through this and I want to know what is going on. It takes hours waiting on what to do next. I pump when I can which they don't even have a room for. I have to hide in a space with a curtain so i can have my privacy. I have to have the pump with me at all times. I haven't ate lunch nor dinner. After all the orders I was brought back to the ER lobby. I still have to wait so the Doctor can discuss to me any findings. I think I still sat there for another hour or so until I finally spoke to one of the staff that I am ready to go home. He said but the Doctor need to speak to you about the result. I said I have been struggling all day having all the breast pump stuff wherever i go, being engorged and i have a baby waiting for me at home. I said I'll sign an AMA just to get me discharged because I just couldn't take it anymore. I got home at 10pm hungry, sleepy and super exhausted with my c-section scar sorta bleeding. Never going back here again."
