Southmountain Children and Family Services, located at 110 West Union Street in Morganton, North Carolina, has been dedicated to providing pathways for children, families, and the community since 1903. From offering basic education to serving as a safe haven, Southmountain offers a variety of life-changing programs to support those in need. The institution focuses on creating positive social skills, acceptable behaviors, and enhanced lifestyles for children and families in crisis.

With a team of professional and dedicated staff, Southmountain helps individuals overcome desperation, despair, and trauma. The organization operates the State's first and only foster community near Lake James, as well as Children's Advocacy Centers serving 16 counties in North Carolina. Their ultimate goal is to give children and families hope for the future, as well as the opportunity to achieve success and fulfill their dreams.
