"Seriously this was the most efficient and speedy ER visit I’ve ever experienced or heard of. Dr. Larry saw us right away and explained everything to us. He was direct but also kind. The staff made my daughter feel more comfortable as well. Finding the right parking area (which is right in front of the children’s ER) was more complicated than the ER visit."
"If I could give zero stars, I would. They really think it's ok keeping a 2 month old baby under paralysis for more than 4 days is a good idea?! I feel as if they performed this surgery on a bad day. They're giving him too many medications, too much fluid. They will knock my son into a coma that they won't be able to pull him out of and they will kill him. If he doesn't wake up when he's pulled out of paralysis and intubation, I will have no choice but to seek legal services. As I will see this as medical malpractice. This ain't funny taking whatever they want from a defenseless, paralyzed baby and watching a helpless, hopeless and powerless mom cry every day and night over her son, scared she'll lose him like she did her last loved ones to a nationwide healthcare system that don't care for taking care of people, instead only care about the money."
"If your child has a slight fever, cold, ear ache, or tummy ache, stay away and go to another ER or Urgent Care. Levine is a Level I trauma center and seriously ill or injured children take priority. Our child was seriously injured and received amazing care at Levine. It was frustrating listening to other parents complain that Little Timmy who had a stomach ache wasn’t treated before our daughter, who had suffered a brain bleed. The doctors and nurses deserve a gold star for listening to all the whining parents of kids who shouldn’t be there to begin with."
"If I could give zero stars I would! Waited for over 6 hours for my 2 year old to be seen. (1pm to 8pm) The doctor took forever to see my child. It was so bad that I told the nurse that we were leaving. At that point they offered my child a snack and drink and magically got a Dr. to see us. Once he was seen, doctor suggested that he stays a few more hours for treatment. This could have been done the 6 hours he was waiting! No tests were ran! Took my child to his primary care physician the next day and was told my son had RSV. A simple swab of the nose that took less than one minute to do and medicine was prescribed immediately. I will NEVER come back to this facility ever! The Google reviews explains their poor customer service as well."
"My son recently needed medical attention -- something no parent wants to face -- in the late hours of the night. The wait was not insignificant, but to be expected given the time of year. We encountered probably 10 or so staff members during our visit for various reasons, all of who appeared to be doing their very best given the late hour, number of people in the waiting room, and overall environment. From the initial check in, chats with nurses, PAs, doctor, and billing staff, each were warm, knowledgeable, communicative, and relayed their sympathies where they could (even for things largely outside of their control). They each talked and interacted with our son in ways to make him less bothered by the medical portions of the visit and checked on us routinely. From a mom who already has medical anxiety herself -- I am grateful for your care and the work you do day in and day out. Thank you."
