Reviews
"The Cades Cove Cable Mill Historic area has a few historical establishments. Becky Cable House is one of those. The two storied house was built in 1879. The Gregg family lived in it and ran a store out of the first floor. Later the house was purchased by John Cable's family and from John Cable's Daughter's name (Rebecca) the house was named Becky Cable House . The house is open to visitors, though there are no furnishings inside. This place gets quite busy later in the day, but it's worth it. They have plenty of parking space, which is a big plus. It's definitely the standout spot in the area."
"Well-preserved houses and outbuildings that provide a good feel for how the people of Cades Cove lived before they had to abandon their town. The signs and details are well done."
"Fun house to look at, you can get some great photos from the interior in the correct light. I prefer some of the other attractions."
"Preserved farm house in Cade's Cove. Good example of newer home construction with milled wood instead of logs. Several other structures near allow you to get out of your car and walk. Get Dr Shields' book for more information."
