"The cake I bought was well over a week old, very stiff, and honestly not good at all. I was told I just needed to let it warm up but it was still “good”. Had I known the slice was that old I would not have bought it. I gave them the rest to throw out for me. Macaroons from this place are good though! ***Edit I was not made aware at the time of purchase that I needed to let the cake sit out so it wouldn’t be so hard and dry. I went back inside the store to ask when it was made as I am 6 months pregnant and was worried it could have been too old for consumptions and could upset my stomach. The lady upfront mentioned the cake was made on October 22nd. I bought and ate it on November 4th. Had I known the cake was almost 2 weeks old, I wouldn’t have purchased it in the first place. Again, the instructions were given to me after I had eaten some of the cake and when I went back to the store…not before. I gave them what was left back in the packaging to throw out for me as I was taking a walk outside. So I couldn’t have followed the instructions prior to eating it if they were given to me after. I’m so sorry you don’t accurately remember our interaction! Thanks for taking the time to respond though."
