Food Lion

"The worst of the food lions in the Concord area. Would recommend Union Street or 601 as alternatives. Have had negative interactions on multiple occasions with the deli department. Store parking lot tends to be dirty and unkempt. This shopping center as a whole has really just hit rock bottom. Constantly vagrants and the worst kind of people hanging around. Homeless camp set up behind the store at one point. I know this isn't Food Lions doing but just safer, cleaner options minutes away."

"It's great for doing small quantity shopping as I find the lines either short or they move fast. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I'm used to these kind of supermarket because this is a typical size supermarket in New York."

"This place is usually pretty good. Employees are helpful and courteous. Today was the third time in a row they did not have the cat food I use. There was a young man stocking the pet food aisle. He was some kind of manager because other employees came up to him while I was there and he would tell them what to do. He was also dressed differently than the other employees. I asked him if they had the food in stock, and he went to check in the back. He said it was possible but that it might be buried in a pallet that he saw there. He said he would check further after he got finished stocking the items that you can see in the pictures I posted. Evidently he expected me to wait until he finished stocking the items because I waited for about 15 minutes and then I went to Harris Teeter to get the food. There was another customer who asked this same young man about another pet food product while I was waiting, who also left without what he needed."
