"Just Right My daughter attended Woodmeadows in its inaugural year. From the moment we toured the school, my then 4year old said it was perfect with a light in her eyes. I looked over at Dr Kendra and saw the same light. s. My daughter was right, and that light in both of their eyes never died Dr Kendra started Woodmeadows, out of the desired to provide a better educational experience for her child, and when you become a part of the Woodmeadows family, you become a part of her family and she wants that same experience for you and your child. Going in I had a few reservations, will my child fall behind? The answer was no, my daughter received instruction in not only the Montessori principles, but she also met all NC standards for the next grade level up as well as additional instruction on entrepreneurship, music, art, and capoeira. Is the school too small? No, being in a micro school was a gem, you learn all the staff, students, and a lot of the parents if you are involved. The opportunities to be involved are there and recommended. The school stayed in contact with me, and we worked together to work on any blocker to my daughter’s success (keeping her on task.) Also pick-up and drop off were a breeze. Is the school too new, No, the school has dedicated staff members, that are experienced educators and that are committed to self-improvement They want to provide the best experience for your child. They have sound practices. During the year, there were some minor bumps, and they always took time to understand, reflect, communicate, and adjust. The school is growing, the staff is growing, your child has the opportunity to grow as well. Take a look at the school and see if it works for you, it was perfect for us."

"We LOVE Woodmeadows! It was exactly what we needed after two years of my daughter struggling at another school; she has blossomed and thrived here. We have three children at the school. The teachers are super intentional and caring. They care about the whole child, not just scores and task completion. "There is so much to say about Woodmeadows, my kiddo has absolutely thrived here. The teachers are absolutely wonderful and patient. After almost 18 months of home learning during the pandemic, my kiddo integrated smoothly. She has learned French, improved her socialization, and soared with her math. Dr. Kendra is phenomenal and has mastered her craft of providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for kiddos to learn and grow. We are relocating out of the area soon and very sad to leave.
