"Great music and family fun! Unfortuately, Southern Village does not properly pay their bands. For years they did "tips" only while advertising local support from area businesses in a big banner over the stage. Now they pay lip service by offering a full band $100-$125 and tips. Starting pay for a band should begin at $500 (they used to 10 years ago) and increase with the size of the band. Otherwise, it's wonderful. Artist jobs are important to this economy! Adjust the pay and I'll adjust my rating. Full disclosure, I'm a professional musician."
