Target

"Do not waste you time going to this target. It very small and most likely does not have what your looking for. I bought some things online and picked up at a different locations. My receipt was on my app and because I live so much closer to this one, it told me I could return it here. There staff was no help at all and I was not able to return my item. Not to mention a pain to get to and bi had to pay to park."

"Perfect for college students. This has pretty much everything you may need as a college student. There are food options, electronic options catered to a college student’s needs, beauty options, basic clothing, home supplies for cleaning and eating, as well as school supplies. There was a big selection of shipping tools, too. The Starbucks in the middle of the store is very convenient, too. They have self checkout with the usual snack items along that aisle. There’s also a CVS with its own specific hours."

"This Target is the size of a CVS right in the center of the Chapel Hill shopping district. They focus on mostly supplies for college dorms, such as food, swag, electronics (including a huge supply of ink cartridges), pillows, cosmetics, greeting cards, pharmaceuticals, cleaning supplies, dishes, and the like. They definitely have a good enough assortment and the usual Target quality and pricing. This location also includes the usual CVS pharmacy and Starbucks cafe. It's kind of wierd to have exterior windows on the isles, but a pleasant improvement. Don't forget they price match any major retailer including Amazon."

"I am a bit biased since I am a Tar Heel and only wished we had the amenities current students have now but I like the idea and execution of the store. The store is nice and people were very helpful. Not too much in the store but head the essentials needed to get by on campus. Prices weren't that bad either. I definitely recommend"

"The new, smaller Target opened today (July 19, 2017) on Franklin St in Chapel Hill (Carolina Square) It was their "soft" opening so there weren't crowds of people. This really is a very condensed version of the Target Superstores, & doesn't stock a lot of inventory. It's probably fine for someone running into the store if they've run out of something - but just like a gas station's mini-market does not have the choice of a supermarket, this smaller Target does not have the choice or scope of a Target Superstore. Some new students coming for the fall semester MAY shop for a few things at this new, smaller Target, but I'm sure that if they need to get many things, they will continue to go to a Target Superstore instead of this one. I walked down every aisle in this new, smaller Target & found that there were many things that they did not carry - & certainly not in comparison to a Super Target. My GREATEST hope is that Carolina Square provides lots & lots of parking availability, which is so sadly lacking in Chapel Hill. Otherwise, when all the shops & offices in this complex fully open, parking will be a nightmare! As of today, the parking deck that Carolina Square plans to have is not yet open, so I had to find street parking."
