"Love this place! Dirt cheap and I’ve found a few nice things, like this skirt, blouse, and pair of heels!"
"This is a 5-star location for the triangle (not necessarily compared to Goodwills outside the region). Great, but small selection of items. Really good selection of skirts and men’s outerwear. I wish the clothing was organized by size instead of just by type. There are no price tags on the items — they’re just counted by type at the register. Will return next time I’m in the area. The other locations in the Triangle are not as nice as this one. Very clean dressing rooms with mirrors on both walls! Plenty of hanger hooks in each room."
"Some of the stuff is overpriced. However, they have a large selection of clothes, not so much for houseware stuff etc, and be careful they have roaches! As I was trying on some items, I noticed two roaches in the dressing room and one near the picture frames. Wash your things as soon as you get home."
"I stopped at the Goodwill center on Timberlake Drive in Chapel Hill, usually a reliable source of excellent second-hand items. There I saw a neck massager/ heater on the shelves, but could not find a price tag anywhere. I brought it up to the front desk, and the lady there told me that she would look at it in a moment, while she handled other customers. I found something else to look at for six minutes, came back, and although there were no customers at the checkout, she acted as if I wasn't there. I looked at her and she said that the time "hasn't been processed, yet" and "I can't sell it 'til it's processed." Okay, then why have it available on the shelves? And why ignore me when I return to receive the price? ...Last time I'm visiting this store, If I need somebody to give me the runaround, then ignore me, and then tell me that items on her own shelves are not ready for sale, I'm not coming back. By the way, this was no level employee, she was the self-professed **store manager** She didn't say sorry, or anything, just dismissed me like I'm nothing. And to add insult to injury, when I first came into the store, I had made a donation to the store. Gosh, I wish I could take that back but no use even bring it up."
"Nice clothing that is well organized but the staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. I was literally yelled at when I asked if a cart was available. They also regularly have really nice linens, bed sets and curtains but they are all thrown into one huge pile that you have to dig through. Even sets and pairs are not kept together, so you have to spend a lot of time searching through the pile. The straw that breaks the camel's back is that they only accept cash. I know that card processing has fees involved, but they are missing so much revenue not accepting cards. I would have spent triple on more than one occasion had they accepted card payments."
