"After consulting with the business owner about upgrading my clutch, I decided to move forward on an OS Giken clutch kit for my MazdaSpeed 3. The price was reasonable and staff were helpful. I am very happy overall with the experience I had buying aftermarket parts from this trusted business. If you are looking for a great twin-disc clutch without having the after-feeling of leg day, this clutch is for you."
"I've taken my Speed3 down to the fellas at Race City Autoworks twice now, how good are they at what they do you may ask? Very good, so good in fact that I've made the 10 hour round trip down to Chris's shop twice now and it was more than worth it each time. Chris and his team are the only people I have absolute full faith and trust in when it comes to this platform. These guys know their stuff, and they've proved they can do it time and time again. Much love to y'all RCA!"
"Last week, I had my 350z serviced at Race City Autoworks and had a great experience all around. Chris was very responsive to calls, emails, and texts and I could tell very quickly that he knew what he was doing. I couldn’t find a local shop that would do the work I needed (Oil Gallery Gasket replacement) and ended up choosing Race City on the suggestion of a friend. I mention this because Race City is 130 miles from my house which meant I had to work out a transport because quotes for towing were running ~$650 over that distance. When I couldn’t get anything arranged in time, Chris actually brought a truck/trailer all the way to my house (again 130 miles away) and picked up my car. Race City replaced the timing chain, water pump, valve cover and intake gaskets. Some of these were optional items that became easier because they had to remove the engine. Chris called me in advance to make sure I wanted these extras which I greatly appreciated. To complete this work, they had to remove the front bumper and support, radiator and the engine itself. With all of that said, the car came back to me looking exactly like it did before and running great. The job ended up taking longer than anticipated, but Chris still honored the original quote even though it meant he would take a hit on the labor hours. I saw the shop for the first time when I went to pick up my car and I was pleasantly surprised by how it looked. I had read a review that it looked like a junkyard, but that was definitely not my experience. It’s in a very nice building that’s basically in the parking lot of Charlotte Motor Speedway, and while there were a few cars out front missing hoods or body panels, most of them were complete and very nice. Seeing the variety of cars, including several performance Mazdas, a drag car, a 300zx and a Corvette made me even more certain that I had chosen the right shop for my 350z. I would gladly take my car back to Race City again even though it’s so far away from me. 130 miles is very reasonable to find an honest, competent, and well-priced automotive shop."
"I work here so my opinion doesn't count, but Google won't stop asking me to rate my experience..... So far we've been open 7 months and I will say that our customer base is the greatest I've ever dealt with... thank you all for the reviews and for the continued patronage...we appreciate the opportunity to serve the local community and their friends and family..."
"There is no one I would trust with my car other than these guys. I drove from Tampa, FL with my car on a trailer so that he could revive my car. My car had been down for almost 2 years. They treated my car as if it was their own car. Took their time and did things the right way the first time. And explained everything they did and why. If you are looking to do anything to your car... I'd suggest going here. Not sure what to do? Ask them. They will take the time to talk to you and explain what options you have."
