"I use instacart to shop food lion. My shopper bought the Food Lion deli coleslaw which I like. This time I tasted the coleslaw and it was terrible. I looked the package and it had expired 17 days ago. I gave my shopper a bad review for not checking that but it is really more Food Lions fault for not policing expiring items, especially something like this which can be dangerous especially for older person such as myself."
"Good place to go and get groceries. The employees are helpful and friendly. The store was clean and organized. The bakery was smelling good as well. I just wish I had the time to wait for the fresh bread."
"Buyer beware if you do an online order it is Instacart that Food Lion has partnered with and they will hold an estimated amount of money until they decide to release it , I spoke with Food Lion because the charge on my card was 15.00 over, she said I had to call Instacart that she could not help me. I called Instacart to see what was going on and was told that they had extra money in case you order extra.! Wow ! Think how much interest they make off people !"
"My mother brought home three subs from the deli, all turkey and Muenster with lettuce. I got the unlucky one. When I opened my brick solid sub roll I discovered a bug on my unwashed lettuce. After taking that off and flipping everything over to add mayo I noticed I didn’t have any sliced meat, it was all shredded and hardly any there. Later on in the evening I spoke to the other people who consumed the two other subs and apparently mine was vastly different from theirs. I’m glad I took pictures because I was able to show them mine in comparison to theirs. Not sure who makes these subs at the deli but they really need to do a better job."
