"Normally I have good experiences shopping here. Today not so much. Their produce was wilty, did not look fresh at all. Then, when I went to get some fish from the counter, the guy wrapped my fragile piece of salmon like a burrito, tightly rolling it into a wax paper cylinder. At then to top it off, at checkout the lady bypassed me putting in my phone number to collect rewards, and didn’t ask if I was a student for the discount I would have received. Not the end of the world but for a premium grocery store they should have provided better service."

"You cannot visit Boone without stopping by Earth Fare. From natural household cleaners to the most delicious baked goods to beers & wines, and produce, consider the impact of pesticides and chemicals on your health & the planet. The food is not only better for you; I have found that most organic just tastes better! Even if you are just coming to Boone for the day, I like to buy what I need for a picnic (use a ice cooler) and have the small feast at the rest area. Earth fare also has so many delicious alternatives for healthier snacks, cereals, dairy & meats. The people that work here are the nicest and most helpful. I have a thing for their fresh baked baguette, the Calabrese antipasto olives from the olive bar & the Olli salami. Yum! Thanks Jon Michael for the wonderful customer service! "Earth Fare grocery store exceeded our expectations! Our drive from Banner Elk was worth it as they were the only store in the area carrying vegan marshmallows, a delightful find for us.
