"DO not do business with this place. I bought furniture from them and paid the balance in full I was told they could hold my furniture for a storage fee of 5 dollars a day. I went to pick up my furniture and it’s been sold and not only has it been sold they said they will NOT give me my money back. They indicated their hold policy is 14 days in which that was never communicated with me nor did I ever receive any type of call or notice to come the furniture."
"Habitat for Humanity Restore at Wake Forest, is a fantastic organization that helps communities by providing them with affordable home improvement materials. I have had the pleasure of visiting their stores and I was impressed by the variety of items available, including furniture, appliances, building materials, and home decor. The prices were very reasonable, making it accessible to everyone in the community. By providing affordable materials, they are helping families improve their homes and make them more comfortable and livable. I highly recommend Habitat for Humanity Restore to anyone looking to support a great cause while also finding quality, affordable home improvement materials. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved. The staff at this location are friendly and very professional. Thank you Drone (7)"
"What a great place: they take donations from the people that work and then sell the donated items to other people who work so they can take the money to build houses for the people that refuse to work. Another great service for the free loaders of our society!"
"I went to the ReStore to donate an exhaust fan for over a stove and a sink complete with faucet. Because the perfectly serviceable sink was still in the countertop it was not accepted. I was asked if I had the base to this vanity, it is clearly a double bowl kitchen sink. There are 10 screws on the bottom of the assembly and the sink could be removed from the countertop. It was never mentioned that “Sir, if you would remove the sink from the countertop we would gladly accept it”. In my view, the ReStore is not donor friendly and I will not go back."
"I adore shopping at the habitat wake restore store. I also enjoy donating items to the store! I always find nice furniture and home accessories. The book selection is also excellent! The prices are always fair."
