"A nice selection of reasonably priced items. But very poor customer services. The checkout staff acted as if you were bothering them. No smiles. No pleasantries. Only scowls."

"I like the selection and prices in this store, and I think it's well organized. I've been shopping here since they opened, but no more. Why? First off, THE SMELL. When you first walk in there's a pungent, terrible odor (think weeks-long uncleaned litterboxes of multiple cats) but it's smellable all over the store. It used to not be as bad, but I could hardly stand it the last time I was there. I can't believe there aren't reviews mentioning it. Either people are nose-deaf, or so accustomed to an even worse smell that they don't care. Awful smell aside, I've seen employees stealing more than once. The last time I was there I saw one take something off the shelf, remove the packaging, and begin using the item. I feel uncomfortable having my money handled by someone who's comfortable stealing from the same store I'm shopping in."

"This Big Lots doesn't really have much as far as merchandise goes. The ones in Raleigh are much better. I don't know how this location stays in business cause there's always very few shoppers there."

"Leif was amazing he was attempting to go to lunch when I asked about buying a couch. He stopped what he was doing and walked us through the process and fully checked us out. Great guy deserves praise from his manager."

"Although the prices can occasionally be somewhat steep, I enjoy shopping at this store. The staff is amiable and the store is consistently tidy, and their furniture assortment is impressive. Additionally, I was able to find a magnetic rod that I was previously unable to locate at other stores."
