"Initially, they had a good review from me; I even became a regular customer but I think I had my last visit. MOST with good business sense understand your profit is from your regulars, not people that may come in minimal times. Most employees there are also pleasant. The female who looks to be of an Asian descent was extremely NASTY! I get live crabs from here. Crabs are generally cooked while they’re alive. One of the crabs she placed in the bag for me to purchase had minimal movement and I asked to have a different crab since that one was not moving as much. She dumped the bag of crabs on the floor and asked which one?! I had to walk away to alleviate losing my cool. They have given me crabs with holes in the head or were nearly dead by the time I got home (7 minutes away). How dare her get nasty over a crab! I’m too classy to be nasty and will always carry myself in a dignified manner, but she needs to realize they are not the only location that sells crabs and people have way better attitudes. The crabs are not as big at other locations, but the employees are pleasant (Fishy Fish). She didn’t know I knew Spanish and I will not repeat what she said. You never know your audience. If you’re having a bad day, stay home! Do not take it out on a customer or customers! You’re not entitled to ANYTHING from me or any other customer, nor should you carry yourself as such. I have never written so many BAD reviews until I moved to Charlotte! People here in business and in service are NASTY! If I do decide to return, she cannot wait on me. Respect is due to a dog. Asking for a different crab should not result to dumping the crabs on the floor and asking me which one! The more I’m here, the more I realize I need to look for another city to call home….."

"My wife and I love this place!! Usually the variety of fish they sell is pretty diverse but on our last visit they didn’t have quite the huge selection we expected, maybe because of the season. If you have time for them to fry it for you; treat yourself!!! They have this process down to a science! Highly seasoned, crunchy, salty goodness!"

"Service is friendly…they sell the crabs by the lb…normally they get fresh crabs in twice a week. You can get them cooked but must buy a dozen or more. A bit pricey but always good."

"This place is the best seafood market in Charlotte, with high-quality seafood and excellent service. They do everything for you, from cleaning to cooking if you need. I love their crabs, which are unbelievably fresh, succulent, and flavorful. Salmon and shrimp are also highly recommended. The service is excellent, with quick and efficient service. It's convenient to swing by and pick up some fresh seafood for dinner or grab cooked shrimp, fish, or crabs when I'm short on time. I highly recommend this place!"
