"The food was great. We were greeted when we walked inside, sat at the bar they handed us menus. I wish the waiter could explain a little bit more but I kind of had an idea of what I wanted. But besides that we got our food in a timely manner. I will be trying this place again."

"I was really craving some Chilaquiles, so I decided to try this place out during my lunch break. I have never been here before, and let's just say I'm so GLAD I chose this location. It was empty when I got there and was immediately greeted by the friendly host and waitress. Everyone was super nice. The ambiance inside was great. Even though it was during lunch hours, the music was awesome, and the place was super clean and put together. The food came out in a timely manner, and everything was DELICIOUS! I ordered the Mexican chilaquiles in red salsa, with rice, beans, avocado, and fried cheese. It was so delicious! The steak was perfectly marinated and very tasteful. I will definitely be coming back to try different items on their menu. They have a wide variety of different foods. They also have a drive-thru window, which was a first for me for a Mexican place, but I feel like that's great, especially if you're running on a short time for lunches. I definitely recommend this location if you're ever in the area."

"My burrito tour has found it's Best Burrito Winner, so far. Santa Fe Mexican Restaurant. Great taste! I was able to use my hands. Although super large and sloppy burritos are my favorite, this east Charlotte spot has taken the honors."

"Outstanding real deal Mexican food. Fresh. Amazing. All was well prepared and quite tasty. Quite possibly the best guacamole I have ever had. Cheese dip with Chorizo was another stellar starter. Gorditas were tremendous. Went chicarrones on one. Different. Good. But skin was wet/sauced. Was expecting dry but that's on me. This is not typical Tex Mex. The burrito my buddy got was good but not the best. If you like real Mexican you wont be disappointed. Other reviews mentioned bad service. Our service was stellar."

"Went with a group. Everyone loved their dishes. What I ordered was good too, however they didn't include the ribs which was part of the order, when I brought it up they said "it doesn't come with ribs anymore" (which I wish they would have told me) . Also I ordered the fried cheese and it came out in thick cuts so the cheese wasn't melted, so don't order that. I would be mad about the whole thing, but it was really good what I did get. The churros we're very good!"
