"Fantastic find. We are from Ohio and happened to find this place on a recommendation, and it was delish. My husband got the filet, and he said it was the best he ever had, and I had the chilean sea bass, and it was like butter. Both were outstanding and the we shared the au gratin potatoes and they were equally as good. Had the egg appetizer and fresh bread(to die for) and we each had 2 drinks and bill was 300 and well deserved. Would definitely go back."

"This restaurant is very upscale and beautiful setting. Everyone was very polite and professional from beginning to end. I made reservations ahead of time to celebrate my birthday. The wait was about 12-15 mins. So, not too bad. They give you 3 menu books to look at. There's so many options to choose from. I started with sparkling water. It was so refreshing. Then, I ordered a sweet wine ( I can't remember the name of it). While waiting for my order, I received a "Happy Birthday" card from the GM. That made me smile. They place a white napkin and set the tone for your meal in front of you. I chose their meatloaf w/ whipped sweet potatoes & pralines. The meatloaf had an acquired taste. It wasn't your traditional meatloaf, but it was worthy. I love the whipped sweet potatoes. Afterwards, they boxed my food to go for me. I was amazed. They're the first I've ever witnessed that for their guests. After my dinner, they surprised me with a beautiful, complimentary dessert. And then a chocolate chip cookie to and my night. I was so stuffed that I couldn't take another bite. They definitely made my birthday very special. Everything came up to $95. Of course, I tipped. It was worth every penny I spent. If you're looking for something with an intimate setting or to celebrate.... I recommend this place to anyone. It's a beautiful experience."

"Our family of 4 had an excellent experience at Steak 48. 1. The hostess and all of the hospitality staff are friendly and they greet you with a smile. Every person we encountered wished us well and told us to let them know if we needed service. 2. Our waiter was very knowledgeable. He rattled off the specials and gave us suggestions without being pushy. He was patient with our children as well. Service was just excellent. Our food came out at a decent pace and they made sure that our drinks were always full. The complimentary warm towels and chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch to complete our dining experience. 3. The food was excellent. We had both a large and a small filet mignon, lobster rolls, crispy, shrimp, creamy potatoes, mushrooms, a super food salad and truffle fries. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Even our picky 6 year old enjoyed her meal. 4. The restaurant itself is elegant and cozy. They have candle lit tables and a nice warm atmosphere. They have about 8 individual private restrooms. They were clean, neat and well stocked. 5. I would highly recommend this location, it has been one of our best steakhouse experiences in the Charlotte area."

"Truly an experience. We had high hopes for this place since we don’t go to fancy restaurants often but this was chef’s kiss. I could not reccomend this place enough. Service was there as soon as you step in. Everyone greets you. Our server was truly amazing, went above and beyond for us. Food itself was heavenly. It was also a birthday so they gave us free desserts as well although it wasn’t pictured."
