"I went here with a few of my friends on a Friday night. It was very busy and limited parking spaces. We were told that it would be a 15 minute wait that turned into a 45 minute wait. I ordered chicken nachos with queso and it was so soggy that the nachos fell apart. One of my friends ordered shrimp tacos and they were fried so hard that she had a hard time eating them. Our waiter was very friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant."

"So glad we found this restaurant while visiting Charlotte—it felt like we were being transported to a city in Mexico while we were there! We were treated so politely and greeted so warmly by all the staff that it felt like family. The guacamole we ordered table-side was the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!"

"Excellent restaurant with tasty food, great service, and nice drinks. There are also good vegetarian choices on the menu. There is a vegetarian section, and they also allow substitutions. Parking is a little challenging at times when busy. But service is quick and efficient. We didn't have to wait too long for a table. Highly recommend!!!"

"We have been here a lot and always enjoy the food and great service. However, the last few visits have been difficult. Food and service is still great, but the area is unsafe. The hotel it is attached to is a homeless shelter. We were "greeted" in the parking lot and at the door by 3 people asking for money. Come for the food, but not after dark."
