"I drove 30 minutes to Biniki Cafe because I wanted the spicy fried chicken bites. I had them about a month ago for lunch, and the food was fresh and tasty. Tonight, the chicken was old and rubbery. I told the gentleman at the register, and I even paid for another order of the spicy chicken bites. They were also old and rubber. TERRIBLE!!! Will not be back."
"3 words… ube soft serve. Place is nice and targeted around the college students but they have solid tea and snack options. Pricing is reasonable, only the interior is somewhat worn probably to the wear/tear of operating for so many years Definitely go for the ube ice cream. I also heard they gave some Filipino dishes not particularly found in Charlotte. We will be back when we have a hunger for snack food"
"All a little underwhelming and didn't come away feeling that I received a good value. The Vegetable Lumpia was delicious with a nice fresh crisp exterior and tender vegetable interior. The fries were typical, though cooked well. The Mocha Café Latte was very refreshing. It had a nice combination of chocolate and coffee, though the modern method of coating the cup with the chocolate and leaving the mixing to the customer is a little frustrating. If you want to add a little extra drizzle to the cup for presentation, that is fine but make sure that you have already mixed a sufficient amount in the drink for flavor. My service was a little slow, a couple other people received hot food before me even though they ordered after me. Wasn't a terribly long wait, but, you know... All in all, for $20+ - a little under-impressed."
"For whatever reason, I was craving Yakisoba. I Googled the closest place to me that served Yakisoba, and the Binki Cafe popped up on the local guides. The pictures looked pretty good. But after arriving their, it seemed that 90%+ of their clientele were only there for the Bubble Tea. And for the time that I waited for my order, they were making their Bubble Teas, just as fast as people could place their orders. The interior is kind of quaint with plenty of seating available. The food menu is very limited, not so for the teas. The Yakisoba had plenty of fresh crisp vegetables. I ordered both the pork and chicken varieties. Though the meat seemed to be in short supply. I would rate it a 3.75 overall, but Google doesn't allow for percentages. I'm not a big fan of Bubble Teas either, but that's just me. I won't be making a 2nd trip back for the Yakisoba either. Every business can't be good at everything. Capitalize on what you are good at, and excel. If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you."
