"I am in love with this place. The sandwiches are incredible. The prices are amazing for the quality and quantity. It’s a quick service restaurant with great customer service. There’s a good portion of vegetarian/vegan menu items. Much better than most sandwich places that typically just have a veggie sandwich. This place thinks out side of the box and comes up with fun and delicious options. I can’t recommend it enough!"

"The best flavors, vibes and service. A MUST visit sandwich shop. Pickle was 10/10. Chips had the perfect crunch and refreshing red spice. Chickpea salad was my favorite, hands down. I’d recommend you get all the sides if it’s your first time. Chipped ham was insanely delicious. All the flavors pair vvvvery well together. Definitely my new favorite sandwich place downtown Wilmington!"

"This was our first time at The Half and we were blown away by the food. We’ve heard good things about this place but haven’t had the chance to come in until now. I love how they give you options to make it vegan and also offer gluten free bread. That’s a bonus way of making it inclusive for those with different preferences. The guy we chatted with was very nice and knowledgeable about the stuff on the menu. My fiancé was also impressed with the beer offerings too! Another bonus thing you don’t see very often in Wilmington is their materials to wrap the food, utensils and cups are all compostable. That is awesome and I wish more places offered this! The only thing I’m eh about is the location. It was hidden and slightly hard to find but now that we know where it is, it’ll be easier going forward. Once inside, it was cozy and had a bar seating area along with tables. I also saw they had a patio area which we didn’t have a chance to check out due to it being cold. We will be back to try other sandwiches and hopefully the patio area in a warmer weather! I didn’t get a picture of our sandwiches but here’s one of the beer!"

"Had the chickpea and roast beef sandwich. Sandwiches were not very flavorful. They had good portions of meat and protein just lacking flavor. Staff was friendly."

"We stopped in today and got the Italian sandwich and the caprese sandwich with turkey. We sat outside on the fantastic patio. It's garden-like...has a fire table, too. Even with balsamic, my bread wasn't soggy! As a deep south native, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions are incredibly close to my heart...I couldn't believe they were a side here! We recently moved to Wilmington from Northern VA, and I've SO missed this salad in my life. We also got a side of potato salad, chips, and the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. They have gluten-free bread, as well. Absolutely fantastic!"
