"Authentic South American food, original mural art, festive atmosphere. Every time I eat there, fond memories of backpacking vacations south of the border come alive... The food is good, and it feels down home and special. The owner family is genuinely nice to everyone. I've taken friends there and everyone loves it. Did I mention it's affordable? They also have takeout. Eating it right now... yummy. My favorite is the pulled chicken salad with avocado, but I have yet to find something I don't like."

"First time here and it was great! Friendly service, great food overall cute spot. We had the garlic shrimp as an appetizer and they were a little too oily but had a great taste and the fresh tostones were also delicious. We had the chaufa rice with shrimp and chicken good flavor and the plantains gave it a nice sweet touch. The sauces were so goood!! I love spicy one sooo flavorful!"

"Food was ready for pickup on time. I could not see the prices on the menu. Location was hard to find using maps, so I called the restaurant to ask for direction. Food was hot. The chicken wasn’t fresh tasting. I opted for yuca, and I thought they were under seasoned."

"My husband said he wanted to try Pio chicken and I was like ok guess I’m on a diet tonight…however the food was really good, somehow it tasted homemade. Everything was made just right, the yellow rice, the plantains, the fried squid, the tacos, the smoke sausage…I can’t believe we actually finished everything. Two thumbs up Pio Pio!"
