"I was shopping today. An associate had been looking for an item for that they ended up not having. But that's ok we had been chatting about our pets while they were looking and I showed him some pictures of my dog as they were stocking shelves, not stopping their work but granted maybe slowing them down a little. Meanwhile the manager at the register infront of other customers started clapping his hands at the associate telling them to get back to work. I shop at this store at least 3 times a week and found this to be quite rude of the manager. Is thinking s the customer service you want in your stores. Just asking"

"Close to home. Very convenient place to stop on my way home from work to pick up some ingredient I'm missing for dinner. Always well stocked. Employees are helpful and pleasant. Terrific prices and an interesting assortment of products. Always fun to just look around."

"This store is great to get household stuff like toilet paper, paper towels and laundry detergent. I like how it is close to my house so if I forget something at the grocery store, I can just run here and grab it ( as long as it's not produce or meats). There are somethings that you can get cheaper at other stores, but overall their prices are great."

"To be honest when the Dollar General was built I was put out that a commercial business was going up in a rural setting. Then when I was preparing a requested dessert, I realized I had given my baking pan away...off to Dollar General at 7:30 PM so I would have the dessert made in time. I was hopeful they were open so I would not have to drive another 10 miles. Hoorah! They had what I needed at a very reasonable price. If they weren't there it would have been more than a hour of time wasted."
