"Can't believe they call it a restore very high prices and rude people habitat for humanity is a good organization but not this place"
"Used to love going there but the prices have went well over retail. Everything marked "vintage" so they can ask for a higher price. Won't be going back. Shame!!"
"My husband was treated very unkindly from the lady taking donations today. My husband started unloading 3-4 boxes of donations as we waited for someone to meet us by the donation door. We had home décor, new pet cot, kitchen stuff, some small exercise equipment/bands all in good condition and nicely packed. An older woman came shouting "whoa whoa whoa" and began to sift through the donations telling him all the things that she would not take. At one point she saw a George Forman grill and said she could not take it and stated "did goodwill send you". At that point my husband just began to load what was left into our car and off to the Goodwill we went. I do prefer to donate to places who give back more locally and who I feel really use donations to benefit the public but when you are treated so poorly for just trying to give things to people it is just easier to go to Goodwill where we were not treated poorly and were even thanked for donating. I will never return here with donations and will avoid this location for shopping also. Very poor representation for this establishment."
"This used to be a great place to shop and donate. Prices there have gone up so much that it isn't my first choice anymore. The lady who works the cashier is super nice, the lady who accepts donations is rude and ungrateful for donations. I was taught that when someone gives you something to accept graciously. If you choose not to keep...donate it elsewhere. I know others who have had the same experience, I expect that their store will experience diminished donations."
"Used to be a dream for both vintage items and discounted home improvement material. About 1.5 years ago they overcorrected their pricing to become more profitable, and now it’s not worth stopping by. We donate our functional light fixtures, appliances and outdated (to us) materials here, but we don’t bother going inside to see if something is worth taking home. Even the used frames are near retail price, it’s sad to see as they’ll lose revenue and donations as the massive price increases drive down foot traffic."
