"Out of all the Walmarts in the Asheville area I like this location best if I have to come to WM (I generally avoid shopping at Walmart if I can). The atmosphere in this store (as with Walmart in general) is not super inviting. I want to get in and get out, I feel low in energy and generally low-mood when in WM. However this stores storefront is very aesthetically appealing. It’s easy to get in and out at this location (there are two traffic lights at each side). This store compared to other Walmarts earns it 4 stars but WM in general earns 2-3 stars."
"Stopped in just to get a watch battery replaced. Waited at the jewelry counter where they do this. Waited 30 minutes and nobody showed up. I then called the stores main number to see if I could get some assistance. It rang and rang and rang and rang for over 10 minutes and nobody ever answered. I left and went to a jewelry store down the road, had the battery replaced and was on the road again in about 15 minutes. What a waste of time."
"Has what you want, but few employees to help the number of customers. It was clean and uncluttered. The employee I finally found was helpful. It's simply the customer support that is at about 2/10 at most."
"Two weeks in a row our grocery pickup has been a nightmare. The first time, we were told our groceries would be delayed 2 hours. When we received the confirmation that it was ready we waited at the store another 2 hours for our order to come out. The second time, we were told there was a two hour delay so we rescheduled for the next day. We had to call to see the status the next morning. When our order was ready, we waited an hour for our order to come out."
"A quick stop for ice and restrooms, they had plenty of ice and a reasonable selection of bottled water cases in the appropriate section. We were able to pick up some snacks as well. Restrooms were dirty and not stocked. Both paper towel dispensers in the men's room were empty. And I learned from my daughter that both paper towel dispensers in the women's room were also empty. Not acceptable. Too many carts in the cart corrals in the parking lot. Too long a line at the self-checkout and only two other staffed registers. Definitely, could've been better."
