"Great little dive. Seats about 25 people. Reminds you of the "truck stop" restaurants from the 70's & 80's. Huge portion sizes. The mother trucker pizza is enough for 4 people. There was two of us dining. Tab was 25.00. Good place to grab a bite if you're near Morganton NC."

"This place is a bit out of the way but so worth it. Reasonable prices. The big John burger is massive. Chili cheese fries are Fantastic. Wife got hamburger steak. Biggest one I have ever seen."

"Stopped for breakfast. The wait staff was very friendly, kept our coffee hot, and made sure we had all we needed. The food was okay, and was served on paper plates. Omelettes were loaded and tasted okay but they were a bit flat and spread over the plate. I like cheese but there was a bunch of shredded cheese melted on top that made it look like they were hiding the omelette. Hash browns were very crispy so if you don't like them that way, nearly inedible. The toast was more like barely-warm bread. It'll do in a pinch but next time I'm in the area for breakfast, I'll try somewhere else."

"I had a BBQ sandwich, it was a sweet BBQ. It was better than I expected. The tator tots tasted like real potatoes. I liked the salt and pepper holders, they were cute."
