"The Kangaroo in Banner Elk, NC is a top notch Gas station, we always stop here while touring the Blue Ridge Parkway. The service is amazing, it will be extra special if your clerk is Mr. Ramsey. Also don't forget to ask about the possum stew or the pickled hog head they steam all at their store.
