Reviews of The Pedalin' Pig
"Solid & good! Pulled pork wasn’t the freshest I’ve had. Smoked sausage was superb! Ribs were really flavorful but offered a little resistance. (I’m spoiled on BBQ…) overall was really good! 7/10 Service was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was clean and no wait."
"Food took a while, was happy we ordered the fried pickles to snack on while we waited. But oh boy, well worth the wait! I ordered the brisket. It was juicy, tender, delicate, delicious. Big portion size for the tray option, could easily feed two people. Service was great."
"My wife and two kids decided to eat here for lunch Saturday afternoon. No crowd so we got seated quickly. My wife and I decided to split the Sampler Platter for Two ($30) Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, hash brown casserole, fried okra, macaroni & cheese, and slaw. One son ordered the chicken strips with fries. Again no crowd, so the food came quickly. I can honestly say out of 3 times or so over the course of while eating out, this is one time where my wife and I could not eat the food. It was edible at best. Everything had that less that room temperature warmth and that dry glaze on it as if the whole sampler platter had been sitting out overnight and they served it to us. The ribs were gross, the pulled pork was stale and mushy, the brisket was like over cooked pot roast. The meat kinda disintegrated as you chewed it. We tried and tried to enjoy it, even ordered several different bbq sauces the menu lists (since they weren’t out on any of the tables). Just could not get it down. Macaroni was hard, cold, flavorless, old tasting, gross. I’m a big man, this was the rarest occasion where I couldn’t eat all of the food i ordered. The server was friendly, when he came around. Asked if we wanted a box since the 4 of us couldn’t eat less than half our food and left it. But wasn’t concerned with why we didn’t wanna take it with us. More than a $50 total and 4 of us enjoyed a chicken strip each."
"Worth checking out. We came here on Friday evening around 6. We were seated immediately. Within 15 minutes we had our food. The service was great. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the smokehouse sampler. Not horribly expensive to be in a tourist town. Would absolutely come back."
"We got there and was seated right away. Our waitress was attentive without us asking. The food was delicious. We shared the smokehouse sampler and still had enough left for a third person. Good portion of food! The chicken wings was just the perfect crisp on the outside and tasty on the inside. BBQ was spot on even better with the complementing sides. Would we eat here again? Yes!!!! Plus, locally own. They seem steady on the day we were there. They had a bar too for those who prefers alcohol. Restrooms were clean. Only the parking is very tight in the front but I believe they have more parking in the back."
