I’m changing doctors office sorry I forgot to mention they don’t even have doctors, they have Nurse practitioners"

"I called at 11 a.m. on a Monday because of a cracked filling that had become an emergency over the weekend. The amazing dentistry staff took incredible care of me, and went above and beyond to make sure they did not *only* fix the emergent issue, but prevent future issues with thorough, professional, and thoughtful care. I was so impressed with my dentistry treatment that I immediately changed my primary care physician to the office’s medical department. The incredible staff got me a physical *that afternoon* and continued to take incredible care of me. I cannot say enough positive words about Shauna, the NP who helped with every aspect of my health while giving excellent, kind, and vital medical care. I was able to get the referral I had been trying to get for weeks, as well as additional specialist appointments within the next 10 days. Recommend is too casual a word for how I feel about this office. If looking for healthcare delivered by consummate professionals with a thoughtful and thorough patient focus, look no further."

"5 star for staff quality and service in an essential area and doing good for community. However there is a huge concern with X-ray safety for staff mostly, feel bad for the staff, the walls and doors should be treated to prevent scattering penetrating radiation to patients and staff close-by, not really sure the current setup is recommended per industry/ADA/FDA guideline or practice but easy fix: Drywall and doors are too flimsy should be thickened or have protection screens which don't cost that much money! Maybe should just spend a little money for reducing patient and staff cancer risk and get the blue X-ray curtains in the Xray room. Place would be golden/blue :) with that."

"After many years of participating in larger, high-volume downtown HMOs, being treated as just one more name to call, putting up with the frustrations of waiting weeks for appointments, & being routinely rushed out after my 15-minute-1-complaint-only appointment expired, almost 4 years ago I called my insurance company to ask why I should have to wait 3 weeks to be seen for a very debilitating head cold. They immediately connected me with a doctor here at Blue/125th St. Med. Ctr. who told me to come in right away. I changed my PCP immediately. Although there has been a yearly turnover of NPs, it is a credit to the chief PCP Phelan Clancy that every one of the NPs has been excellent. Starting with Phelan, they have all been very caring, patient, & thorough. Never have I ever felt rushed. The same is true for the receptionist, the intake nurses, & the sonogram specialist. Diagnostic tests are patiently reviewed & explained in as much detail as you can handle. And you are routinely given a copy without having to ask. Whenever an expert may be warranted, referrals have been readily offered. In my opinion, Phelan has maintained or set a standard of care that is excellent. Medical emergencies can happen in any center, but wait time has never been a major issue for me. If I have had to wait, I take comfort in knowing it's probably because someone else needed that extra care & got it, & I will too."

"This is one neighborhood clinic that really is the best in the area it serves people from diverse backgrounds and the staff and doctors shows they really care. I been going here for like a year now. They are very thorough the doctors found things in my health my other doctor i was going to for 15 years didnt. From the foot doctor to my medical doctor they really are on point when it comes to my health.My medical doctor Dr.Gee is so on point and explains things very thorough and answers my concerns and questions. The receptionist always calls to remind me of appointments and follow ups. I hope they stay around forever."
