"I went to Dr. Ilson for a second opinion and was pleased at the outcome. Dr. Ilson was very thorough and explained my symptoms and plan of action in terms that were easy to understand and follow. He read over 500 pages of my medical history and summarized it eloquently to me. He also wrote a multi-page document detailing the visit, my medical history, and plan of action. I learned more in this visit than I have in my entire oncological journey. For this I am very grateful. I highly recommend Dr. Ilson for his knowledge, articulation, and compassion."
"We were referred to Dr David Ilson by 3 different people. I was the caregiver to my son who was diagnosed by Dr. Ilson. We were very desperate/helpless when we first went to him. The prognosis wasn't the greatest but Dr. Ilson assurance gave us some hope. He is very detail with his examinations and questions and answered all the questions my son has. He has an amazing team of nurses and office coordinators. We were calling the office at all hours in the beginning and always heard back within short period of time (24/7). Our questions always answered, appointments always made and adjusted conveniently. Everyone's empathetic and compassionate. We are very thankful to Dr Ilson, his team and MSK"
"Treated my mother for gastric cancer over the summer 2022. She was getting better and went into partial remission (September). However, next month (October) she asked if she should get the mRNA booster for COVID-19 and he said yes. This was her 4th booster. The same day after vaccination, she started getting sick and throwing up constantly everyday for about 3 weeks straight. A month after getting the booster (November), she got another CT scan and it showed her cancer spread like wildfire specifically to her ovaries. She then sadly passed away not too long after that. He treated her like another number. He was getting paid $10,000 a month for treating her. He didn't actually have her best interest in mind. He GREEN-LIT her to get the mRNA booster and EVEN recommended it. She listened to you. You're a medical professional and you recommended something that has no longterm studies. You didn't even ask her if she was already boosted. It was unethical. Where's the true compassion? But I suppose this was expected from a corporate doctor. Also, my mother(aged 69), who exercised and ate only healthy and organic foods, never salt, had no family history of cancer, only longevity with her parents and grandparents living to their mid-90s. The picture below was taken in front of her funeral flowers."
