"This really breaks up heart to see and know that there is a radiation oncology doctor at prestigious MSK who has zero bedside manners and empathy. I would not be writing this review if she was not this bad. I work in healthcare, I am a ICU nurse and my mother has stage three lung cancer. During the entire course of proton beam therapy, we saw Dr. Lee three times and every single visit, she saw us for at most two minutes. She did not give me or my mother not even a second of her time to ask questions. She didn’t ask how she was doing after therapy. (My mom went to ED twice and had to get bronchoscopy five times within two months because of radiation induced necrosis per IP). She doesn’t communicate with my mother’s interventional pulmonologist (IP) and doesn’t care to. When I told her about this, she bluntly said “CT scan looks good, you will get email from mychart when PET scan results come back, see you in six months, ok? Ok.” She never showed us imaging.. she mistaken my mothers diagnosis with another patient when we saw her second time during therapy. I believe she should not get any patients. She does more harm than good to patients… emotionally and physically. I am scarred from my visits with her."

"She reminded me that the bedside manner with empathy and respect cannot be taken for granted even at MSKCC. Of all the physicians, nurses, aides and other staff, my family and I have interacted with in our 10+ years of care at MSKCC, she stands out as the ONE person at MSKCC who should NOT interact with patients. She should star in all MSKCC training video MSKCCs for new employees on how NOT to interact with patients, whether it is examining them, speaking to them, or teaching students about their disease. She is rude, abrupt, insensitive, and her exams are unnecessarily painful and demeaning. Her informed consent has little information other than she knows best and is in complete contrast to all other caregivers at MSKCC."

"Terrible!!! Do not go to Dr. Lee. She doesn't care about the patient, only about her own research. The office does not return phone calls. I had a recurrence due to the high level of radiation she gave me -- FOR HER OWN RESEARCH! It was not the standard of care. STAY AWAY!"
