"Dr. Drilon is a part of a novel clinical trial to further restrict mutations that may cause other parts of the cascade (for cell growth) to accelerate cancer, using a secondary drug. I suppose it further inhibits the ROS1 driver from escaping the primary drug, and every step towards a secondary driver on the cascade: ask the expert."
"In comparison to patients who have years of survivorship experience with Dr Alexander Drilon, I am a novice.However, as a career Healthcare Professional approaching 80 years of age, I mention my personal characteristics (sometimes baggage, sometimes advantages) as qualifiers when evaluating medical caregivers. I became Dr.Drilons patient in late 2018. In spite of my feeling somewhat psychologically detached from myself, the patient, at that time, I recall feeling safe under Dr D's imaginary wings. His " bedside manner" while in the office setting had the effect of a soothing and almost musical introduction to his proposed treatment course.
