"Totally Awesome doctor In October of 2014 I was diagnosed with cancer on the right vocal cord and went to Memorial Sloan Kettering seeking help. My oncologist Dr. Sean McBride determined the best treatment was radiation treatment using IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy). Unfortunately my Federal insurance Blue Cross/BS refuses coverage since they only cover CR (Conventional Radiation). Dr. McBride appealed explaining that without IMRT I ran the risk of dmaging my carotid artery and increasing risk of stroke. In the meantime I contacted the World TRade Center clinic (I was a rescue worker during 9/11) and they covered the IMRT procedure. Dr. McBride supervised my treatment for the entire month of February 2015. Since then, until today (2017) he does follow up exams (my cancer is gone). He is a very thorough doctor who is willing to sit down and spend time with his patients. He is an expert at what he does and a consummate professional. A real pleasure."
