"Exceptional Care and Compassion at Arcadia OBGYN Clinic I recently had an appointment with Dr. Berg, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the level of care and professionalism I experienced. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming environment put me at ease immediately. The reception staff were courteous and efficient, taking care of my needs in a timely manner. Their friendly demeanor made the administrative aspects of the visit less daunting and set a positive tone for the rest of the appointment. As for Dr. Berg, he was simply outstanding. Not only is he highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also compassionate and understanding. He took the time to answer my questions, explained things in a way that was easy for me to understand, and genuinely cared about my concerns and well-being. I am truly grateful for the personalized care I received, which was far above and beyond what I expected. It’s clear that Dr. Berg and his staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for their patients. I would recommend this clinic to anyone seeking an empathetic and highly competent OBGYN. Thank you, Dr. Berg, and the entire team for making my visit a truly comfortable and reassuring experience."
"I went in for an appointment with Dr.Berg today after being seen in the ER for a ruptured ovarian cyst, and being referred to him for further treatment since the doctors treating me at the ER said I showed signs of endometriosis or possibly PCOS, and that my left fallopian tube was at risk of twisting due to one of my ovaries being enlarged. The receptionist staff was rude on the phone when I made the appointment as well as in person, making strange comments about my insurance while I was sitting right there. The nurse that initially saw me was kind, but Dr.Berg seemed to not care at all and just wanted to get the appointment over with. He came in and examined me very hurriedly, not asking me any questions other than “have you been here before?” , and barely leaving me any time to ask some myself or give him any information about my reproductive health history. I waited naked from the waist down for almost 20 minutes, but the interaction I had with him was less than 3 minutes. He was about to just leave after saying “everything is normal you can get dressed and head out” until I told him that this was not the first cyst I’ve had rupture and my periods are extremely irregular and painful, because again, he could not be bothered to ask me anything. All he did was say “I’ll put you on a birth control to take away your periods. You can get dressed and exit.” and not tell me anything about the birth control he prescribed me. I told the nurse I had very irregular, painful periods, as well as other issues I hadn’t ever gotten help with before because my last gyno was another man that was very dismissive, and she said “That’s very strange, I can talk to Dr.Berg about that,” but nothing came of it. I left the office in tears and will not be returning and will warn others not to be seen by him."
"I had a terrible experience with Dr. Berg. I went for a consult because I received MRI results showing an ovarian cyst. He didn't wear a mask. He insisted on examining me even though I was there to discuss the results - he wanted to do the exam BEFORE discussing. I waited over an hour for the appointment. I had sent my MRI results to his office a week prior but he didn't have them, he READ THEM OFF MY IPHONE. He gave me an exam WITHOUT AN ADDITIONAL PERSON (ie: nurse) IN THE ROOM. He proceed to tell me the cyst ruptured and would sort itself out but that I needed to have my left fallopian tube removed. Good thing I went for a second opinion because I did need the RIGHT OVARY, CYST and FALLOPIAN TUBE removed ASAP AND I HAD CANCER. BTW, nothing was wrong with the left side of my reproductive organs, I was able to keep my left ovary and fallopian tube. He should lose his medical license and never "treat" another patient."
"A little confused by some of the negative reviews I've seen - so I decided to write one. Have been a patient of Dr. Berg's for several years now. The office staff are great, Dr. Berg is easy to talk to and clearly very competent. He performed surgery for me in 2019 and I had every confidence the procedure would go well (and it did). I am more comfortable with Dr. Berg than I have been with any OBGYN since my old provider from when I was a teenager in my hometown. Struggled to find someone in NYC that I felt as comfortable with until now. It's clearly a high volume office but I don't think they deserve anything other than 5 stars."
"I have been Dr. Berg’s patient for six years now. Always a good experience. I love his entire crew, who remains loyal to him for many years. Everyone is really caring, polite, and informative. They also care about your time. I rarely had a situation when I actually had to wait to see my doctor. I would recommend this office to anybody."
