"I'm a new patient of Dr Faroqui's. Though the office is small and not updated, I'm there for the doctor, not the decor—contrary to a few previous reviews, the office IS really clean; Dr Faroqui herself is kind, friendly and clearly experienced, and answers questions in a straightforward manner."

"This office is extremely old and not clean. She uses a metal speculum, which I haven't seen in a legit gyno since the early 00s. She put the speculum in a Rubbermaid bin after she was done, I'm not sure if they were being cleaned properly. It's not a pleasant experience at all, I feel gross after going here."

"DO NOT GO HERE AVOID THIS PLACE !!! I never really write reviews but I wanna help anyone else not have the same experience as me!!! The office is hard to find and it’s very dirty and unsanitary. The atmosphere is just uncomfortable. For my exam it was the WORST EXAM I have ever had. The doctor kept asking the same questions again like if she didn’t understand me I don’t know how many times I had to keep repeating myself and then I felt like I was unheard and not understood at all. For the exam part literally hurt like hell!!!! I never have experience an exam like that. There was no Lube used or cleaning done. She asked me to stay still but was shoving the speculum deeper and HARD in me so it was so hard for me to do I literally wanted to cry. After when I went to the restroom I literally bleed from that experience and had pain all day….. I don’t understand how this place is open and I felt like it was not even a proper GYN… never will come again and PLEASE AVOID IF POSSIBLE!!! Will give it a zero stars if I could"

"I too am surprised at the low ratings being given too. I’m here watching the 1619 project and recognizing how Black mothers fear the health care system, and especially when giving birth. I felt I needed to publicly thank Dr. Raufa Faroqui for my birthing experiences. I met her as a collège student and because she was always so professional, I stayed with her as my gynecologist. I felt so comfortable with her and knew she understood so many things that I failed to also have a GP. As I am watching the 1619 Project, I realized that I had no real concerns when I was pregnant or when it came time to deliver. If I recall any frustration, it would be how frequently I was in her office because she was so careful; to the extent of calling me to come in immediately when my sugar levels were abnormal. I genuinely felt she wanted to make sure I had a safe pregnancy. But I had also known her before becoming pregnant and knew that she cared about my well being. I didn’t feel like a Black woman in her presence; I felt like a woman going to her doctor. When my daughter stopped going to her Pediatrician and looked for a gynecologist, she chose her Obstetrician, Dr. Faroqui. And I was happy to know she recommended her friends. Dr. Faroqui, thank you for making my maternity experience one that was on the other side of the Black woman’s statistical experience. I also remembered how you discussed with me that I needed to find a pediatrician before my delivery. You wanted to know immediately when I took my baby home that someone was going to be looking at her in the following 2-3 days. So there I was interviewing Pediatricians before I even gave birth. And I also had a wonderful pediatrician). So again, I wanted to say, “Thank you, Dr. Faroqui!”"

"Dr Faroqui is very kind, welcoming with good bedside matter. She removed my IUD with no problem within a few minutes. She is gentle as well. She makes me feel comfortable and she is thorough which is most important to me. Office is small and a bit outdated but it is clean and the staff is helpful.."
