"If I can rate this guy at 0 stars I would, this so called doctor created a chronic condition that my wife is now living with and when we came to see him he treated her with such disgust and disrespect. I wouldn’t think a doctor would treat their patient this way. Next he tried to brush off the fact that he is the reason why my wife has that condition, pretty much not taking responsibility for the fact that when she was in his hands this happened. Horrible person and horrible doctor, I hope no one else has to deal with what my wife is going through because of him, physically and emotionally."
"Delivered both my babies in 2015 and 2018, he is the best kind of human being, yes, he can mention the person’s weight, but I never feel offended because its a pure concern! Yes, his office could be more organized, but he is the best OB-GYN for me! Felt safe with him through the 40weeks twice!! Both my husband and I love and trust him, he is an awesome doctor and person!"
"I would not advise anyone to make an appointment at this office. There are plenty of other options in New York (and even in Queens). I came for a well visit in October of 2016. The office has a dated look and feel, and the doctor made a comment about my weight during the exam, leaving me uncomfortable and sure that I would not return. Over the next 2 years, the office called me on multiple occasions imploring me to make my next appointment. I was never able to answer as they called during working hours, and to be honest did not feel compelled by the voicemails to return the calls. They then took it upon themselves to take the very extra step of calling my mother, my emergency contact in their records, to again ask me to make another appointment. This felt like crossing the line, as I would expect an emergency contact to only be called during an actual emergency. The whole ordeal made me feel that they are desperate for business. Now, in March 2019, I receive a bill in the mail for a coinsurance charge associated with my October 2016 appointment. I am already suspicious based on their pleas for my next appointment, and while difficult to remember after 2.5 years, I do believe that the office had asked me to bring cash to my appointment to cover any charges. However, it’s difficult to confirm that I paid them any cash after 2.5 years. When I called and asked why this bill came so long after my appointment, they replied that they have sent me notices in the mail multiple times, beginning in April 2017. I have not moved, and as an organized person, I highly doubt that multiple notices were missed by me or lost in the mail. I take my credit seriously and handle all bills promptly. The bill that I did receive was addressed by hand, so perhaps they made errors in writing out my address as any previous bills that they allegedly mailed never made it to me. Why also, does the bill/letter I received not make any note that they have tried to reach me before? And why, during all of their voicemails asking me to make another appointment, did they not also mention there was a billing matter to discuss? Long story short I will pay the bill (mailing a check, as this office has not joined the 21st century) and hopefully be done with this place for good."
"Best doctor ever! He saved my uterus 5 weeks after I gave birth using another doctor. I ended up hemorrhaging and was sent to the ER at north shore hospital in forest hills. They couldn't stop my blood for 4 hours. Dr. Spyropolous came in to save the day, he tried everything to stop the hemorraghe didn't give up to make sure my uterus was intact. Now I only go to him. It's been 9 years."
"Saw this doctor years ago, so this may have changed. Kind good doctor, bad record keeping and office protocol. I also believe this doctor prefers dealing with maternity patients over the usual Gyn visits. I found their record keeping to be very poor. Months after I had had a mammogram, I received a call to come in because they had found something. That, is a problem. Turned out to be nothing at the time, but they did not know that. I now see a doctor who calls me, no later than two weeks after a test and tells me the results. No more of this, If there is a problem we will call you. I have a family history of breast cancer, this needs attention."
