"One of the most dismissive and negative medical encounters I have ever had in my life. Hardly spoke to me or took a full history during our exceedingly brief conversation (this was a new patient appointment) despite my coming in with a long history of gynecological problems and concerns. When I informed her of a previous medical condition that has impacted my care, she suggested types of birth control that not one but two other doctors (both of whom have given me the best care throughout my life) have told me I cannot take. When I brought this up as well, she either didn't understand why that was or simply did not care. Pushed one medication on me despite legitimate medical reservations, then pushed back AGAINST one that would have helped my conditions and even admitted other doctors love it for my condition, choosing instead to just tell me to lose weight and treat myself like I'm diabetic. THEN I could come back and actually get a thorough exam—I highly doubt that ever would have happened. Deserves 0 stars, no one should be in her care."
"I wish I could give zero stars. I have had nothing but negative experiences with Dr. Rodriguez. I had a consult with her for a hysterectomy, and of course had questions. She refused to answer anything at the consult, and told me to wait until our follow-up after I scheduled a surgery date. Weird, but whatever. So I scheduled a surgery date and came to find out, said "follow-up" was a couple weeks before my actual surgery. I called her office and asked to schedule a second consult for questions. They were wonderful and understanding, and were able to get me an appointment for another consult. So I thought we were all good. I was wrong. I got a call back the following day saying the Dr. Rodriguez said to cancel that appointment and she would just answer my questions at our pre-op appointment. I told them not to bother, and to just cancel my surgery. I can't imagine letting any doctor remove an entire organ system from my body when they can't even be bothered to be in the same room with me for 5 minutes and answer a few questions about a MAJOR surgery. Even at our consult, she was cold and uncaring. You're clearly not worth her time, so don't waste yours on her. Find a doctor who isn't unprofessional and borderline negligent."
"My experience with Dr. Rodriguez has been exceptional. She's attentive, responsive and most importantly, she is a gentle, compassionate highly skilled caregiver. As far as other comments here about wait times and unenthusiastic office staff, that has not been my experience. You get what you give, more or less. Wait times often can't be avoided, and in particular when your caregiver delivers babies for a living."
"I called Dr. Rodriguez's office to make an appointment to confirm a pregnancy , as she has been my doctor for years. After 20 min. of waiting on hold, someone who sounded UN-enthused to begin with informed me that the Dr. was not an obstetrician, despite her website and credentials stating the contrary. The woman on the phone then gave me two names of other doctors to choose from. I said I knew neither and that I would like to meet with Zoe. She told me to write to the doctor from My Chart. I responded that Dr. Rodriguez had been my doctor and so I would like to meet with her in person. The woman on the phone let out a BIG sigh and said hold on in an exasperated tone. I just hung up at that point. I like Dr. Rodriguez, but it's not worth dealing with the horrible reception at the front desk."
