"Shipped me a severely sick dying anemone. Melissa said she would refund my money but they stopped responding after I emailed pictures as she instructed. Still did not receive a refund or any correspondence. Also they didn’t ship when they said they would after I called to confirm they would. Would never buy online from this place again."
"With 2 unacceptable online orders and no response in a week I had to inform others to stay away. I’m not sure why they sell fish online not in stock in store. My first order was an adult Achilles tang which was $400 and only 2 to 2 1/2” big mind you they have a different price listed for juveniles. I should’ve learned my lesson here but I ordered a burgess butterfly a few weeks later and the order was canceled because they wouldn’t get it in stock. What’s the point of having fish “in stock” when nothing is in stock to being with."
"Amazing staff--super knowledgable, engaging, and helpful. Have had some corals from them that have done well, but a bit of a limited selection in-store. However, i've had bad luck with fish from them--1 for 4 with one neon goby doing well, but fairy wrasse, tailspot blenny, and damsel not lasting more than 2 weeks each. Unsure if they were in-store long enough to adapt to captivity or something."
"I have been in and out of the hobby over the years, but one thing that has stayed consistent is my love for this store. Living in the city means that finding a source for good livestock and supplies can be hard to come by, and this place delivers. There are definitely times I drop by Manhattan Aquariums when I’m not looking for anything in particular, and leave just feeling inspired and excited for what I might want to plan for next. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and prices are reasonable given the location."
"Got my new tank set up and installed by MA & their team. Greg and Dominique were very informative, knowledgeable and professional The entire experience was hassle free with great costumer service. I highly recommend them and will continue to do business with them in the future"
