"Terrible company. Constantly finding ways to screw over providers. They have customer service representatives in India who have no idea what they are even saying and it's costing physicians to lose a lot of revenue. Now, they are playing a game where you cannot call customer service if the physician is out of network and expect us to use an online chat. These online chat bots are absolutely useless and just another way to keep money in the pockets of the crooked CEO of Emblem Health."

"Cancels Medicare advantage, plans with little notice, won’t return phone calls when you try to purchase a different plan! Customer service agents which are clearly located in another country, have trouble understanding clear English! Content group of people who don’t deserve your business and if you do Use them, be prepared for pennypinching and cost cutting every time you need medical help"

"This company is a disaster. Each person in their "team" seems to operate without the ability to know what will happen and what others in the company will say. Conflicting information, failure to keep promises, and negative attitude toward being an health insurance company i.e. "we don't cover that" even though mandated by NYS law, or "we need to review this" which goes on for months, are their standard operating procedure. I commented previously, and one of their officers wrote a reply to the review saying to message him with name/birthday/phone # and they would get back to me. I did so a few days ago, and have heard nothing. Add lying to the list of problems."

"Crooks, Crooks, Crooks! Whatever you do, DO NOT sign up with Emblem Health. I had the most terrible experience with them, and when I finally switched over to a new health care provider, the continued charging me!!! I must have called over 10 times for a refund and all I got was the run around every single time, I even had people hang up on me. Suffice to say, that I will not be getting my premium pmts back. I think this is a scam that they run to keep charging people even after you cancel with them... Aside from that, the service was terrible! The networks have the worst doctors, co-pays are extremely high, and the customer service at Emblem itself has to be the absolute worst I have ever experienced!!! My wife and I are now covered with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and the difference in service is day and night... So, if you're even considering Emblemhealth as your healthcare provider, do yourself a favor and DON'T. Trust me, it is not worth it..."
