"As a MetroPlus Health client, I have received terrible service at different stages of my enrollment with them. Their enrollment specialists only care to enroll you in their health plan. Most of them do not even try or can’t answer your questions. Heavily represented in public hospitals or near immigration facilities. They often use advantage over minorities and immigrant communities who don’t understand how the healthcare system works. Their phone support specialists are often rude and don’t want to provide sufficient explanations. They will ignore you if you ask for a translation. Which is unacceptable considering the diversity of communities they serve. And even if you decide to visit their office in person, you can be discriminated against by their unprofessional security trying to find any reason to turn you away. There are a lot of 5-star reviews written in a similar manner which is suspicious. Looks like they are written by their representatives who are encouraged by their organization for good reviews. I recommend choosing a different organization for your health insurance. The one that respects their clients and has professional and caring representatives."
