Oh, and I would receive a cancelation confirmation. It's 03/01/23 - no cancelation confirmation, still charged for the policy."

"Noticed my elderly immigrant parents NY Life whole insurance policy was still being charged when payments should have stopped. The agent, who spoke the same language as my parents, said it was due to the pandemic that he didn’t have this in place or made contact with my parents. He also said that what was done cannot be undone because he has to go into the office when specific people are there, but he hasn’t gone to the office in a long time and that my parents fully understand what the “agreement” says….I was actually calling him to get clarification because they didn’t know. The value on the “products” sold to my parents are well below what they have paid to date. Payments will now stop as they should have been done earlier. I’m not stopping here. I am also going to gather the paperwork and history to see how this can be legally done."
