"Great service!! I shipped a bottle I couldn’t find in Tennessee and it was well packaged and came undamaged. Shipping was a little high- granted could be the tax over state lines. Great customer service as well, accidentally put in the wrong address and they took care of it. Thank you!"
"This group is top notch! They answer the phone and answer questions; they return emails and deliver promptly. I trust De Wine Spot and won’t shop anywhere else online"
"I saw on Wine-Searcher they had a bottle of something I couldn’t find anywhere else in Florida! They had an easy-to-navigate website with incredible selections especially for allocated items! I placed my order and to my concern had to call and ask for an update 6 days later as I haven’t received confirmation my order shipped which I thought was very odd. The person that answered the phone wasn’t very customer-service oriented with communication & tone in my opinion, but he did explain the situation with my order and told me he was waiting for the item to come in stock and that I was in Group 2, so I had to wait for the first and a second shipment to come in before it would get shipped to me which was potentially (not guaranteed) expected on Thursday (Day 9). For the website to say “In Stock, in 1-3 business days.” I feel is a bit misleading that it wasn’t even guaranteed after 9 days it would be shipped. Once I started asking about the cancellation policy he implied he would try to get my order shipped today if the first shipment came in and to my surprise less than 2 hours later I got the notification that a shipping label had been made. I hope I didn’t get priority over someone waiting longer than me. It came in 3 days later and I’m happy with my purchase and annoyed (in a good way) with how they packaged it which was excellent and secured. Despite the delay in shipping, I would still order from them again if they had something I couldn’t find anywhere else!"
"I thought it would be nice to treat myself to a bottle of single malt scotch from here yesterday, but to my dismay I discovered the cork was rotten. When I took off the foil seal the cork just disintegrated and fell apart. The top part came off in my hand before I even tried to pull it out and the rest crumbled in the neck of the bottle and some of the rotten cork fell into the bottle. They sold me a rotten, damaged, defective product, which is understandable, as these things can happen. However I brought it back the full, mostly unopened, totally undrinkable damaged bottle they sold me to exchange for a normal, non-defective bottle, and how they neglected to handle the situation is where my complaint is. The same guy that just sold me the bottle was there and he was friendly and accommodating enough, but when he called the owner to explain the situation, the owner essentially to me tough luck. This is a horrible way to treat customers. It is common sense that if any merchant were to sell someone a bad product then it should be their responsibility to stand by what they are selling and do the right thing. Otherwise why would a customer that gets shafted this way ever want to patronize their business again, which I most definitely will not. I recommend everyone else steer clear of this rotten place as well. Never ever going back."
"Love this store’s selection but recently got a flurry of texts about an unpaid invoice from July 2022. Rather than trying to figure out what happened, they immediately threatened to send me to collections. I went ahead an paid the invoice but realized I couldn’t find the bottle they claimed they sent me (by now the person I was chatting with magically disappeared). It’s easy enough for me to dispute but wanted to post this in case it helps others. Don’t pay any bogus invoices - it’s likely the result of their ESL staff mess ups."
